Junior Gold Tournament Series
Event General Information
- 4 Game series format
- Sport compliant patterns
- Junior Gold qualifying is 1:5, no major fraction
- 1 spot minimum awarded per event, more based on entries
- Scholarships and Junior Gold qualifying awards per event
Tiebreaker
In the event of a tiebreaker for a Junior Gold spot a 9th and 10th frame roll-off will take place. The top seed in the roll-off will select if they go for first or what lane they start on. The top seed will be determined by the individual with the highest game in the qualifying block.
H5G Point Race
- Points based on overall finish at each event
- Custom jersey awarded to highest overall pin total at each event
- Total points at series end wins $500 scholarship and custom jersey
Advanced Registration
Advanced registration is required. Registration will be closed at 11:59 PM on the Friday before the event. Check in for each event will be between 12:00-12:45 PM
Cost of Junior Gold Tournament Series Events
YBSF Tournament Series Member- one time cost of $80
Save $20 per tournament by paying a one time YBSF Tournament Series Fee. Six total events – scholarships and different patterns at every event. Once you qualify you can attend the events to practice, earn scholarships, and help others to qualify for Junior Gold spots. You will have to get the USBC Junior Gold Championship Membership to bowl in these events.
JGTS Member Registration- $55 per event
Must have paid the $80.00 – YBSF Tournament Series Fee to get the reduced price- this is not the USBC Junior Gold Membership Fee.
JGTS Non Member Registration- $75 per event
Format
- 4 Game series
- Divisions based on age (U12, U15, or U18), gender, or a combination of both
- Open to any USBC Youth Sanctioned bowler
